We are excited to launch two new programs in 2026 and 2027:

• Junior Secondary Connect

• Year 10 Applied Learning

JUNIOR SECONDARY CONNECT:

A Term 4 engagement program for students currently in Years 6 or 7, who may be looking to enrol at BYCS in 2027.

PURPOSE

The introduction of a transition program at this time of year aligns with BYCS' proactive approach to building relationships, and presets expectations before commencing in the junior program. It provides an extended transition experience into secondary school. Students will experience the smaller group structures, integrated learning and wellbeing supports offered at BYCS.

YEAR 10 APPLIED LEARNING:

Year 10 done differently. Workshops, applied projects, experiences and training to plan your next step.

PURPOSE

The year 10 applied learning program is designed to provide a hands on, engaging experience that prepares students for VCE-VM and beyond.

THE PROGRAM

The Year 10 applied learning program is designed to build industry skills through timetabled sessions in our workshops. It weaves multiple learning areas together to build connections in learning, thinking and problem solving.

Students strengthen inter-personal and employability skills through project-based experiences.
